Big Cat Rescuers, today, on World Rainforest Day, we celebrate the heart and lungs of our planet - the rainforests.
These vibrant ecosystems are home to an incredible diversity of life, including majestic big cats like the jaguar.
Rainforests provide fresh water, regulate our climate, and produce the oxygen we breathe.
They are also home to indigenous communities whose lives are deeply intertwined with the health of these forests.
But these vital ecosystems are under threat from deforestation, climate change, and exploitation.
Together, we can make a difference. By supporting conservation efforts and sustainable practices, we protect these invaluable treasures for future generations.

Question: What kind of consideration have you put into: (a) releasing/freeing your Big Cats; *and* (b) living alongside them [in the wild] ❓
You can never release captive born big cats back to the wild as this video tells you. It is not legal for one as well as many other reasons also found in this video. You can find out how we are working to save them in the wild at BigCatRescue.org/Insitu.

This is *depressing* . It shows how people - with [seemingly] big hearts - can let their minds be trapped into thinking that [less-small] cages will unlock another animal's happiness. Question: What's your plan for freeing your 'rescued' captives?

The squares in the fencing looked big enough for them to get a paw through and hook anyone who is too close.
The squares are 4x4 inches and the keepers never get close enough to get "hooked"

I am sorry to be 5 yrs late to know about this pure unconditionally loving majestic odd couple. Cameron and Zabu were indeed the epitome of pure soulmate love ❤ After watching your videos and reading about them, i went so emotional that i cried for 3 days. They're now together in eternal bliss playing and goofing around in heaven's garden Wish I could visit them 😊
